My name is Pat Jilesen and I am a photographer, which is actually how I came up with my business name. I am a landscape and pet photographer who occasionally dabbles in portraiture and is currently located in Peterborough, Ontario.

I think my love of the outdoors came from growing up out in the country, in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by nature. This love of nature would lead me on to earn a Diploma in Environmental Technology, and a Degree with a joint major in Biology and Environmental Resource Sciences. While Studying at Trent I would discover my love of photography when given a camera for Christmas. I would also discover, I was a much better photographer than scientist. An unfortunately expensive discovery. But, there is nothing better than exploring the outdoors, being out when most people are fast asleep, witnessing the things so many people miss out on.
